EWB-UGA was officically established as a chapter of Engineers Without Borders in March of 2023. Our organization has almost finished our first project since then and is in the works of beginning our second one soon. The club aims to be working on an international project within a year as well.
EWB-UGA is in the preliminary stages to perfrom a structural analysis of the historic K.P. Hall in Gulfport, MS!
Our mission for our International Projects is threefold: to open the minds of students and partner communities by sharing our different cultures and providing the opportunity to give professional engineering project experience; to create relationships between our chapter and partner communities to connect us together; to establish meaningful changes in the lives of our partner communities not only by using engineering principles to solve a problem, but by empowering our partners to maintain and keep their systems and products working for as long as they need them.
We aspire to make the world a little smaller and to change lives along the way!
